Bob’s your uncle. Дословно эта фраза переводится как «Боб — твой дядюшка», но ни о каком конкретном Бобе или даже дядюшке здесь речь не идет. Это выражение обычно произносят с экспрессией, и означает оно «без проблем!» или «дело в шляпе!». Наиболее точный аналог — французское «вуаля».
Drunk as a lord. Аналог этому выражению — русское «пьяный в стельку». Существует оно с тех времен, когда позволить себе напиться могли только лорды, потому что у них были деньги на хорошую выпивку.
Talk turkey. Услышав такую фразу, не думайте, что собеседник хочет поговорить с вами о чем-то турецком. Скорее, он намерен завязать беседу на важную тему — идиома переводится как «вести серьезный разговор».
It’s not my cup of tea. Если вы не наблюдаете поблизости никакой чашки, значит, собеседник пытается сказать вам: «Это не мой конек», то есть сообщить о своей некомпетентности в каком-то вопросе.
It’s not a piece of cake. Услышав такое выражение, не стоит спешить предлагать своему собеседнику кусок пирога. Такую фразу британцы используют, когда хотят сказать о сложности предстоящего дела. Если же, наоборот, речь идет о легком деле, говорят: «It’s a piece of cake!».

To eat like a horse. В русском языке сильный аппетит сравнивают с волчьим, а в английском — с лошадиным. Фраза «to eat like a horse» в переводе звучит «голодный как волк».
Сry for the moon. Этой фразой в английском языке описывают невыполнимую просьбу, вроде «достать звезду с неба».

Once in a blue moon. Под «голубой луной» в этой идиоме подразумевают редкое событие. Аналогом этого выражения можно считать фразу «в кои-то веки».
A hot potato. Разумеется, о горячей картошке в прямом смысле речь не идет. Эта идиома используется для описания бурно обсуждаемых или щекотливых тем.
